Poem -

TRIBUTES

The dog misses you
He keeps searching my eyes
for signs
I brought him there, to visit
you
To say his last goodbyes

And I know you would laugh
That he cocked his leg high
I smiled a little then
Said a 'sorry' to the sky

You were always his man
And he was ever 'your' boy
He sensed you, I think,
because
He pawed the earth, whined

Then he sat proud and stoic
In the way that he does
He had just marked the place
Of the friend he most loved

Being Me

Awwww....  the words here are just soooo full of love. This one brought a smile to my face. In a good way. Not in a disrespectful way. So glad you are still writing x
