Poem -

Trickle Down

the gold trickles

long and thin

down the mountain

and it's beautiful.

slow,

yet momentarily irrevocable.

We exist

only for a moment

but hopefully

forever

in the minds

and on the tongues

of mere thoughts

not yet conceived.

Someday,

we shall all be

a sparkling trickle

of water down a mountainside

that catches the sun so perfectly

as to glow gold.

Wow, no bs Gina; one of the best metaphors I've ever read...loved how you expressed the spiritual element and constructed this poem with a flow that accelerates, a vibrate organic tone with movement comes across to the reader...felt this one; thought provoking intelligent write...much enjoyed
