Trinidad and Tabasco

Trinidad and Tabasco

I was going to West Indies, went to Africa instead,
hot tabasco followed me around, I'm easily fed,
even Rio was on my list, Copacabana I missed,
that sauce enough to make me an existentialist.

Lifts you up, until you disappear, not needed anymore,
to adhere to mystery, chances of survival are poor;
I am surrounded by culinary experts in cuisine,
I prefer just to pay - do you understand what I mean?

Not only me, my rich boss expressed similar sentiment,
we can't all be wealthy but to be no scivvy of intent;
I've lived on my own - 'we' did what we had to do,
don't lie to me - if you could, that may include you.

Yeah man, pass me the rum, in hammock under banyan tree,
spice up your life - where would you really like to be?
