Poem -
Raw Essence
You understoodĀ I was tired of constrictingĀ chains.
To reach me wasĀ to instil passion thatĀ never wanes.
You knewĀ life was becoming more than I could bear.
To reach aĀ heart you had to show someone did care.
You realised more than anyone else what IĀ sought.
To touch a damaged soul you gave all you brought.
Never had I experienced such a spirit of generosity.
Never could I deny allĀ you wished to share with me.
Now, I have learnt the real meaning of existence.
It'sĀ because of you I've uncoveredĀ my rawĀ essence.
