True Pretender

True Pretender

Abused as a kid
led to a life of a pretender
Tell everybody when ever asked
yes I'm doing fine
but hiding the real truth deep down Inside
When at school became that of classroom clown
to cover the real truth was that of a very InsecureΒ shy boy
Always came back with witty remarks all to hide to what really lay inside a total lack of confidence which led to my life that of a true pretender.
