Truth

Truth

Concealed to most

Few are willing to venture

Blindly amid uncharted waters

Whispers of empty promises

You told me

Be optimistic

Do not worry

Haunted by the unknown

Grim reality of possibility

Was it me?

What to believe?

Am I responsible?

Listening to the pulse of life

How can I live

Without that assurance

The liberation of truth

Dreading the abyss of time

Reaching into the darkness

Pleading forgiveness

I would rather be heartbroken

Than hopelessly ignorant

Have faith

Be lost nevermore

Know that you will not fall

Into empty arms

Multiple personalities can create dangerous conversations but sometimes they can create clarity. Lovely poem, truth that is.
