Poem -

Truth

I’m longing to live, my love,

Torn through the soul, begging

God for forgiveness; for I’m a

Lustful spirit, subject to sin. But

My love is a godly creation,

Tiptoeing upon the symbols of

My compass. Furnish my mind.

Endow me with the motion of

Your passions, for matrimony is

My intention: I desire my love

Forevermore. But what of the

Magnets that shall come? What

If they drag my soul through

Eden? I would then be at the

Mercy of my loins. But love is

A powerful motivation. And I

Yearn for my love with all of

My future.
