in the mirror rear view...
What do you do?
A driver who is prudent
slows down
to comply with the law
while a motorist who rolls arrogant
speeds up...
When arrested
they offer up the defense
that everyone was doing it...
Screams about the injustice
for getting busted
doing 125
in a 65 mph zone..
The judge of course rejects
this false equivalency
because after allΒ
the law is the law...
So tread lightly my MAGA friends
when defending a reckless jaded man
Hell bent on crashing your movementΒ
History will not be kind
to all you partisan enablers
of a lame rationalization mind
Get off the cliff bound bus

That's kind of the point of my poem..
If you know the press and the justice department are looking to get
you, like they are with Trump, then a person with common sense would do everything he or she could to always comply with the letter of the law
as best you could.. Pump the brakes when you see a cop as opposed to contesting an election even after the courts confirmed you lost or returning confidential documents you are storing in your bathroom when they ask you to..
Biden is in the crosshairs now too, so he would be well advised to stop trying to cover for his messed up son.. Maybe his enabling of Hunter is going to bring Daddy down too...
Both of these old men not running in 2024 would be the best thing for America

I don't know who to support either, but I do know that neither Trump nor Biden is the answer.. It would be nice getting back to a president that we respected even if we did not always agree with their positions... It would be nice to get back to having a president who did not make us cringe and hold our breath every time they spoke..
This country has zero chance of ever being great again until we stop selecting leaders who utilize hateful "us versus them" combat politics to demonize our fellow Americans by dividing us
And if you want to make America safer like other countries, the first step is to adopt the strict gun control laws that these safer much lower murder rate countries have.. Time for America to drop it's John Wayne shoot em up cowboy mentality and grow upΒ
