Turmoil

Caught in life's turmoil,
soul dirty, so soiled,
growing seeds,
impregnated by hatred's good deeds,
life stinks with the stench of hopeless pleads,
seeking light in the darkness on bending knees,
Crying to a deaf god whose blind eyes only reflect what I see
Searching for heaven with hell's rage inside of me,
Playing the devil's advocate,
With angelic illustrates, separating the devilish saints,
They're hiding behind sinister smiles and tarnished pulpits,
Speaking words from the book that were never presented, and then tell us their version of how its interpreted. I'm seeking peace of mind, wanting only the piece that's mine, golden streets, honey and milk for me to dine, but on earth, heaven is so hard to find.
