Turn Around

There is a point in everyone's life,

Where you need to stop and turn around.

Back away,

And turn your life around 

I came to this point

I was terrified of what I had become

But I did not know how to escape 

Escape the hell in my own head

The voices were trying to kill me

They told me every negative thing about me

The bad thing was I believed it

I tore myself apart 

I needed help, a lot of help

My best friend noticed I was in need

She stopped in her tracks

Walked down a very scary and difficult road to save me

 From that point my life turned around 

I became a better person

 Thanks to that one person

She saved my life, and I will forever owe her.
