Turning Head

Turning Head

I will turn my head and not notice if you want,
The fact I see you do it,
But will choose not to say anything,
As I'm not innocent either.

I can't judge you when I'm doing the same,
Even though I don't know what you are,
But if I were to bet, I would imagine something,
At least if I'm being honest about it.

It's not right for me to get upset, is it?
As I would be a hypocrite myself if so,
To say I'm innocent in it all,
So I will turn my head instead.

Maybe one day we'll be honest with each other,
Tell of our secrets we have had over the years,
But I won't hold my breath,
As that's not been the way we work.Ā
