Poem -
"T'was the year 2021". Jill's challenge
T'was the year 2021,
I awoke face down in my bath,
Succumbed to viscous karma,
hangovers wrath.
Yet I awoke with my family all by my side,
Equally content,
From sunlight in hide.
Mass jubilations had us all in dance,
Families together again,
the chance for romance.
Corona had been defeated,
Our United strength had prevailed,
Hopefully never repeated,
Another enemy derailed.
On toward happier times,
For granted we took our ways,
The grief will never escape my mind,
I'll always cherish my days.
