Twilight of the Gods

the stomach swallows the rusty blade
blood pouring out in enormous quantity
drink from the fount
blood that gives wisdom in dark times
dragons scorching the earth
giants pulling up trees
wolves feasting on defensless people
brother killing brother
winter follows
three years of frosty cold death
three years of nothing but incest
soot covers the skys
sun and moon swallowed up
the stomach painfully pushes out the blade
it is over
the earth is dead and gone
no creatures remain
no human inhabitants
the twilight of the Gods has come and gone
