Twilight's Beauty: ( July 24th, 2022)

Twilight's Beauty: ( July 24th, 2022)

As I walked across
the serene, verdant field in
late July, I was
struck by features of the sky.
The wind had died down,
and I began to perceive
a veil of pale blue:
fused with lilac, pink and white,
softly covering
rapidly darkening land.
I was most intrigued.
With the tender, painterly
touch of an artist,
the evening spread out
its beautiful dreams:
in texture, colour and shade.
In my memory
it will remain, and via
this poem, it might
spread a little insight
to an errant world,
about Nature's grand designs.
