TWISTED THOUGHTS UNRAVELED

TWISTED THOUGHTS UNRAVELED

I must go now
before the ship sets sail
if my journey is to be successful
I must leave you behind.

Because the calling of my life
must be honored and embraced
to fulfill the spirit's voice.

You were there with me
from the day I was born
mimicking my every motion,
And listening to every word I say.

Your voice was not audible
but more than often
you crowed my mind
by corrupting my thoughts.

You saw in me,
what my mind could not conceive
the power available to crush your head,
so you continued to sabotage my walk
by influencing my every move.

But today I'll say  goodbye
to your plots and schemes
your mediums and possessed voices
and demonic noises.

One greater than you
has silenced your babbles
and the twisting of my thoughts
he has unraveled.

Wilford Barker.
