Poem -

Two Characters

Characters of a story,
Who were meant to be.
But in came sorrow and worry,
That wouldn’t let two lovers grieve.

So separation came,
She could do nothing but scream.
Down poured the rain,
Depression it seemed.

The boy cried every night,
He couldn’t understand what he’d done.
Didn’t know who was wrong or right,
His legs were forcing him to run and run.

He had lost the love of his life,
She had lost her shining knight.
He had lost his amazing girl,
She had lost her perfect twirl.

Two characters of a story,
That were meant to be.
But in came sorrow and worry,
Wouldn’t let two lovers grieve.
