two little candles

If i sang happy birthday would you know what it ment -

and all the birthday cards that people sent -

everything that is today is all for you -

because my sweet jessie you are two ,

Two little candles stand on your cake -

that your loveing grandmother did make -

o how i wish this day would last -

i dont want this day to be the past ,

Today is your day little jessie bell-

we know you are happy we all can tell -

because your smile gose from ear to ear -

o how i thank god you are here ,

but it´s a shame it´s a day aou wont remember -

but it´s always your day the 9 th of september -

but for now my darling this will do -

and all the lovely treats your mom did bake -

my o my what a wonderful doughter-

as she sits on the knee of her grandfather ,

she is smiling my sweet little jessie 

just look at all the broken hearts you did mend -

 but it is time to blow out your two little candles
