TWO OLD LADIES ON A BUS

The bus was packed both upstairs and down 
Everyone was making that essential trip into town 
That's when I heard two old ladies chat and natter 
They spoke and talked about a very interesting matter 

I'm too shy and embarrased to tell you what they spoke 
If I did you would think it was some kind of joke 
I will say that it involved lying on a bed
It doesn't involve resting or zed zed zed 

The two old ladies got off the bus without any remorse
I suppose talking about knitting in bed is a natural course
