TWO THINGS TAKEN FOR GRANTED

Reading a book with words he doesn't see
How difficult in life this would be
Noises around him but nothing does he hear
Must I'm guessing bring so much discomfort and little cheer

These two things for granted we take
Be grateful for sight and sound for goodness sake
It's hard to imagine no sight or sound
Like walking on grass on desert ground

So if you are feeling down and stressed
Having these two things you should feel blessed
Seeing blue sky and hearing baby's first word
Without no sight or sound these would not have occurred
