Two Worlds Beyond

I have been to the light
Embraced in it's powerful sun
Felt pure souls bless me safe travel,
For where I venture fourth
No mortal should ever go
Might I be brave, love one I must know.
Latern lit way
Barely pierces through black,
In a world dark
Running risks of fact
That my mission is good
But there's no possibility of a way back.
Spirits move stealthy
They want me to know
They want to hold on to the living
And show them the light,
To take to the darkness
Fill a void
Created earthly pleasures
Cast unto this unholy black chasm.
Falling short of answers
On my lips questions remain here dead
Retreating for real breathing
Negativity fills vulnerable head,
A hatred hug
An unwanted guest,
Connected, not by choice
Haunting ears
With a threatening voice.
I'm reminded of beyond
Everytime I close my eyes
And see a sable face,
Warning signs
If that be the case
For if you wander into a world of bright light
Let your travels end there.
