I need not read the papers or traffic the News

for the media is corrupt as the interviews it seeks.

What can we do but buy cans…

and stock them...

in a bunker or deep cavity on this planet.

Am I over excessive to proclaim

that we are finished as a great nation…

straddling the edges…

with our still robust and invested powers?

When our fingernails are broken…

we will fall.

Elections have become a circus show.

Whether Elephant or Donkey...

who will clean up the defecation amidst?
