Unbearable

Thoughts of losing you are more than I can take.
Losing you would cause this fragile soul to break !
My life needs you for you are every single breathe !
You'd sustain me if there was absolutely nothing left.
When I consider how I was when I was floundering,
I realise of all that's in my world, you're the blessing !
After you, I have no concerns or waste time in worry.
All fears and anxieties have been consigned to history.
I can not allow myself to contemplate you not there !
You never being at my side is far more than I can bear !

Hi Richard I think as Cherie does, do not have fear your wife
is there for you always. I think it only natural to have feelings of insecurities
at times, but by the poetry you write you can see a deep love of two soul mates
together for a life time
This poem touched me, Great write
A hug and best wishes Debs

So pleased you have enjoyed recent writes on relationships and love ! Love is the be-all and end-all when it comes to making the most of life and related opportunities. To share so much with another is true fulfilment.
Thank you for giving your insight and encouraging remarks.
All the best to you ! :)
Richard......I just love this one! This poem is so pretty! I've had this kind of love before....felt this way......this poem brought back beautiful memories of my former fiancé. He was called HOME the month before we were to marry. It was very unexpected. I still hurt, miss him much.....it has been far more than I ever thought I could bear. I take one forward step at a time. Your writing on this one is so good.....Thank you for writing this one! Paula
