Uncle Albert Saved The Day

(The music for this which I STILL haven't completed, is intended to have a strong 'Minstrel' / Tuffle music influence.  As if it were being told by a troupe wandering down a dirt road, back in the medieval days. :) )

(a)
once upon a coming time
Uncle Albert heard a friend
with a hoarse and wheezing troubled breath
wishing to be okay again.

(b)
a light bulb popped above his head
Uncle Albert headed quick
into his electronics shop
his friend would soon no longer be sick.

Uncle Albert would save the day
A time machine with which he would
Travel in time to find a way
To cure his friend if he only could.

(c)
minutes by hour with parts in hand
his time machine did come to be
tested transfers both to and from
returned to him reliably.

(d)
hopped in he did to travel time
but brushing the location ball
brought him to the future it did
enclosed inside a cement wall.

Uncle Albert couldn't save the day
His time machine encased it were
Traveling time into the wrong place
Never again for him to return.

(e)
a family feud had broken large
spreading through the city
lives were taken guilty or not
attackers would feel no pity.
the wall did break where Albert were
to reveal his time machine
a bright young lad, an idea had
to prevent this tragic scene.
he dialled the time to the week before
the family feud began
with the the argument stopped an even score
Uncle Albert became the man!

For greater than he'd planned
The war that broke wudda ended the race
Of every child with woman and man.
