Poem -

Unconditional Love

                           Unconditional Love

I stand in the yard

With my house coat on,

It's the middle of the night

Not even close to dawn

My dogs are sniffing

Every spot on the ground,

Thru the cold snow

That covers the ground

They need to go pee

It has to be the right spot,

How come they walk slowly

Couldn't they at least trot

They circle the yard

An area has been found,

As one of them squats

A yellow spot on the ground

One is now done

One more to go,

As I wait patiently

Out here in the cold

He takes a little longer

Then raises his leg,

As I shiver in the cold

Giving him praise

He starts towards the door

He has taken too long,

As he lifts up his paws

From the cold cold ground

I go and get him

He's now in my arms,

Wrapped in my housecoat

Keeping him warm

Unconditional Love

Between two friends,

It will last forever

Love never ends!
