Under the Willow Tree

Under the Willow Tree

everynight, at the stroke of midnight
we will meet in the enchanted forest
under the willow trees
and we will dance and prance in the mists like
wild children of the forest
and I will look into her eyes
and she will look into my eyes
and we will see true love
and we will prance until dawn
when we must return to our other lives
and we will pass in the hall
longing for the night to come
longing to be able to show our love
to the whole world
not just the enchanted children of the forest
but soon: dusk
night has come again
and again time to meet in the enchanted forest
under the willow trees
to experience true happiness
