Poem -

an uneasy feeling

I lay in the dark unable to sleep, I feel eyes upon me.
I dare not move, show fear or speak, with those eyes still on me.
I know not who, or what it may seek, avidly watching, it makes me feel weak.
I lay in the dark unable to sleep, it's only just me inside my own head.
I lay in the dark bound to my bed.
Just as it stops and finally fades, I start to drift asleep only to hear someone say, not an inch from my ear, whispers the word "hay"
