Unheard Poet
I tumble down into my old life of exaggeration's posies
But leaving these saints and sinners
On carousel horsepower
Has solidified this poets fidelity
Words streaming truths
In bloodied ancestry
And dreams of the Vatican's Pope
Scream of the death sucked deep
Into the wars unnecessarily
Beheaded
And crucifixions left for the poor
To devour at Sunday mass...
Everywhere a Judas
Devouring human flesh
Everywhere a Judas
Evades our penetrating questions
And perpetuates
The corruption ...
I am but an unheard poet
The saver, the seeker of truth
Through words
Words tainted by
passing time
Words that cool my mind
But do not bring peace to my waking state
For it brings
Detachment and dislocation
From the burn
Of God
And the swim
In the baptismal waters
Of true, spiritual, Love...

This is an amazing write T. I hear your voice loud and clear, and what better way does a saver, seeker of truths which I refer to as a recorder then to cement his thoughts and beliefs through time with written word, there's something so noble about it. Love and peace big bro.
