The heart is shattering

Rendering in two

Feeling no affliction

For the ache is no longer

For where pain once resided

Hollowness supersedes

The heart minds with love and care

It yearns to be loved

And to share that joy once more

It shares the joy with someone special

A click, a bond like no other

It felt loved for once

Finally it had a reason to beat

It had life again

Happiness at last

For a short while

That began to fade

For it seemed its special someone

Pulverized it

Leaving only hollowness
