Poem -
" UNIVERSAL BEAUTY "
In winter's quarters
I found clean warmth
In memories of passions' play
The ways, in days
That movement sways
The mortal soul,
And fires the furnaces
Of hope
And faith
In my heart's longing gaze
Such,
Is the detailed insurrection
Of the jaded lovers
Control,
And in winter's constraints
The Love
That grows cold
Holds
No hope for springs
Eternal portrayal
Of flowers and photographs,
Where the intimate display
Draws beams of light
Into the mixture
Of metaphysics and Love,
Where the seasons
Are more
Than they seem,
And the Love between we two
Lay waiting
To rendezvous
With the heat generated
By just
A closer look,
At your universal
Beauty...

As usual, when I read one of your unbelievably beautiful poems, I get chills in my spine, as I come to its end. You should have been born two hundred years ago, and we'd be reading your works in our High School Literature classes, instead of on Cosmo! Now all we have to do is figure how to get you in those literature books of the future.
