UNMOVED BY THE WIND

UNMOVED BY THE WIND

ON YOUR DESTRUCTIVE BREATH
SAILS VILE WORDS,
SHOOTING FROM YOUR POISONOUS LIPS
LIKE FLAMING ARROWHEADS.

TARNISH MY NAME IF YOU MAY,
WITH YOUR THOUGHTS OF JELOSY
AND INFLAMED ENVY.

MY SELF RESPECT AND DIGNITY
PROCEEDS MY MIRRORED LIFE,
YOUR RUMBLINGS AND DARK CLOUDS
ARE BOTH VAUGE AND EMPTY.

I AM UNMOVED BY  YOUR LANGUID WIND
OF FEATHERED WORDS,
I AM PROTECTED BY THE POWER OF ANGELS
AND GUIDED BY MY UNTARNISHED SELF RESPECT.

I AM EMUNED TO YOUR SLANDER AND LIES.

WILFORD BARKER.
