UNSEEN UNHEARD

He walks beside me everyday

Unseen

Unheard

But felt.

After all that he went through

Lord, why couldn`t you let me help?

I know that you are telling me it just wasn`t possible

But still, I had to ask.

Why did I have to see him suffer so much, Lord?

Now my life is just a horrible task.

He fought his battle so bravely , Lord!

He never ever complained!

It shreds me into pieces Lord!

Knowing he`ll never come home to me again.

So please put your arms around him, Lord

Tell him how much I love him so.

Then tell him to wait for me

I won`t be long!

It really should have been me that had to go.
