Poem -

Unspoken Words

Who can tear the truth from you now
While we stop to get our eyes off the plow
Of the busy of the world which puts a cap over me
Be still your heart and hear me so free
Stop and listen, can you hear a sound
Is it the echo of my heart, do you hear it pound
Silent and still with no flutter of the tongue
Two hearts together trying to beat as one
Not a sound is heard to make one see
The true love in which I feel for thee
Far away are any words, our lips lay bare
Yet spoken out loud is the love we do share
The language of our love is heard so clear
No noise can muffle or smear
The unspoken words from my ears this night
As we're whisked away in arms in the dim light.
