Rubbing the bruises on your soul,
I tearfully hold a fragile body,
aching bones seemingly hollow.Β 

Your eyes shoulder a mountain, blueβ€”
swimming, suicidal art pieces.

Descend quietly.

I carefully place my love on your self-destruction,
while patience waits for life’s reconstruction.Β
