Poem -

untitled

Dapple light the Dappled light
you are the child who closed their eyes in the dappled night
tiny hands grasp the summer night you whisper where there's silence
and dream to fill the fright

The white four corners of your room hold the stage for the echoes of nature
these trees are older than you but their shadows are new
they have danced they have hidden and flown
embossed onto your ceiling and into the blue

as time melts the warm glow of street lamps

trickles through the fingers of trees
