Untitled III

Oh I hope I'm not the only one

Someone tell me....

You've felt it too

The guilt from taking up the air

The wasted flow of toothpaste

The shampoo to gloss my hair

So many plastic razors

Feeding landfill dragons

So many drops into the ocean

And reels and reels of dead forest

I produce very little yet consume so much

Is it us or only me that's out of touch

Am I touched

Is something not quite right

Or am I justified in letting these anxieties

Keep me up at night

I hear them say, "your worth it"

That a man has landed on the moon

But what have we given to the earth

Can you display the *added value*

Tasmin Archer said, it's "too soon"

Is all this activity simply nature

Or are we the anomaly

Or am I just an aberration

Am I just experiencing delusion

Or perhaps I am a glitch in an illusion

I might be afterall the only one with this confusion
