Poem -

Verglas midst dark wood and blade,
Orb in prance through everglade,
Weary sapling traipses in shadow,
Barren planes, former gallows.

Spectres whisper, leaves in fall,
Haze before eyes, familiar call.
Eyebrows raised, gut in wrench,
Dizzy spells and null to quench.

Gossamer thread through head and hair,
Fingertips touch and nothing there,
Spritely march and surreal of laughter,
Echo on winds that chase thereafter.

Eyes closed and teeth in rattle,
Sound of rope and chains in rattle,
Dare to open one eye in wonder,
Ghostly face bestows and blunder.
