Unzip my love...

Unzip my love...

As I unzip the daytime sky to reveal the stars I search
I rest on rope from the moon like a bird on her perch
I try to catch the diamonds that fall from the sky
But,
I can't see, I've blurred vision from the tears I cry

Droplets of rain cascade, I pretend that you're crying too
What I pray for, is for somebody to love and bear my truths
The clouds part as thunder masks my aching need to feel
I smell purity in the air, cleanse my soul as my heart begins to beat

I start to swing
I feel my wings
For what he brings
Lovebirds still sing

My angel swoops in beneath my body, takes me to a place where love is real
A land of beauty to the naked eye and butterflies on first dates aren't a dream
I sleep, listening to a beating heart that puts my soul to rest
To all the heartaches and controlled, this has made me forget

I'm rich beyond wildest pleasure
The diamonds will fall forever
I can see them now, but life is better
Life with love instead of sadness
Life with love? zip up my darkness...
