Up up and away

Up up and away in a beautiful balloon
As the colourful canvas glints from the crescent of the moon
I could stay enjoying this adventure overnight until noon
But alas our expedition will be over all too soon

Awe inspired I espy ice-capped peaks below from the picturesque mountains that are carpeted with snow
Amidst the setting sunset I am blinded by the glow
On such an eventide of perfection 
betwixt a marvellous memorable show

Everything is orange with a bloodshot burning hue
As the sleepy sun sheds it’s
glory on my magnificent panoramic  view
I love the meandering rivulet as spirals spin corkscrew
Such a pleasant perfume rises from the meadows mossy dew
