Upon a daffodil
Upon a daffodil, the wish of love. And such dialogue, an un-
Spoken touch. And my dream-catcher, ache of my prayers;
And my vision life, pulse of my being. It’s the pendulum of
Love, the fire of light. And the mannequin uttered dreams.
And the lily spoke of spells. Thus her wistful heart, a
Flaming cauldron; and thus her soul, the fount of life. But
Promise, the devil’s splendor; and promise, a fervent heart.
Thus my cloven joy: thus my cloven joy.
Upon a daffodil, the wish of love. And such monologue, a
Physical voice. And my soul quakes, the art of mystic; and
My heart quivers, a majestic life. It’s the pendulum of love, the
Fire of light. And her heartstring, a soulful universe. And the
Spirit, a ghostly stream. Thus the lock, a melting shrine; and
Thus the current, a splintered soul.
