Vacuum of humanity

Vacuum of humanity

World,  how shameful

How disappointing you are

For the woeful

Despicable acts that mar

Human existence,

World, how shameful

Pathetically shameful

Distant stars pitiful

Empty soul pitbull

Disturbed, a world disturbed

Empty and devoid of empathy

Defensive and evil entwined

Into a ball of excuses pithy

Germs have more love

Than a world devoid -

The empty skies

A vacuum of humanity

Jai Masters, what an incredible write. I have to pin this and say how brilliantly well written. I absolutely love the line, "Germs have more love" Incredible man. Even the unfortunate and despicable acts you speak of by these most evil people how you conveyed and your emotion through out......powerfully felt. Peace my friend.

Thank you and how lucky I am to live long enough to write a poem about inhumanity -

I write it because I feel it and that's the joy of poetry; your good words are appreciated more so because it is the innocents that must benefit from awareness; to stamp out genocide is very important; to create peace very critical; have good fortune Devon; to meet poets here on Cosmo is a treasure.

One website closed down and if that happened here it would be :(

best wishes from Jai:)
