The recent cold weather ended
Back came the grey and rain
Up at 3.30am , For England's cricketers
Indeed there was no love for them
- On Valentine's day .

Cricket in the morning
Poor wife is a sports widow
Football in the afternoon
Two Valentines Day cards sit proud in the window .

No restaurants open , In this current normal
No candlelit meal tonight 
Supermarket meal deal to the rescue
Movie night later , Life in technicolour .
