Valley Maze

I met you once; and felt you in another’s arms. I laugh and cry
At such irony. You paint perfect; and something peek’s pain;
And who am I: a mere vessel: alert and absent. I stir the
Conscious; and such elevation: we stir intuition. We’ll meet
Again: a heart to heart; and voice to light—a mystic dark.
Your friends have power; and motion deep. I glance and hide;
And hide and glance. Some seek silence; and others charm death.
I’ve faulted no man; and protect not the vicious. And selfish
Lies kill the soul; and what of wealth: a tempted soul; but all
The more, a plea to feel. I imagine home is clean; and love
Is somewhat enchanting; but mind to heart: the richest love;
And Aum to soul: a rising rain. I ponder chi; and swim the
Light; and hope to heart—a pleasant tear; and live the volt—a
Vocal brain; and chant a stream—a cultic flame.
