You try so hard to sleep,
But you have to reach those texts,
Your brain has gone in too deep,
You have to reach the depths,
You have to comment on that video,
You have to catch up,
You reach for the radio,
Time for a change-up,
Two hours have passed,
You choose to sleep,
But you have to reply fast,
The others are all asleep,
You try to close your eyes,
But you are reminded of the past,
You smile at a prize,
The memories are vast,
Your fingers twitch for your laptop,
You watch someone live,
You are in a crop,
In the web you dive,
You swim for entertainment,
You try to find Nemo,
You achieve attainment,
Time for round two,
The hours have passed,
You look outside,
The view is going to last,
That was the longest short ride.
