veggie treat

I wish i was normal-eat all food that is passed
the chicken legs and sausages - or meat from that cows ass
I watch the mouth's curious - of how that animal goes down
to chew and smile and taste it - no regret or sick or frown
I sit ,my plate untouched - another veggie treat  ,hmmm!
the same old taste of cardboard - "i want something nice to eat!"
It's hard vegetarian -when meals are nothing new
hungrier than i started - stomach's shrinking ,that's true
if i was lost in the jungle - i'd have nothing nice to eat
no monkeys balls ,or crispy bugs - or crocodiles feet
I guess ill have to stick to my quorn for now
dress it up in salad and forget about that cow
then i suppose in a way - a saucy little treat
is when my man sleeps over - then i get my meat!
