Poem -
Venom
Gloomy glances beneath bottomless eyes,
Lethal lips telling beautiful lies,
Sensually smiling only to show teeth,
Wide open arms infect my instincts,
Toxic touches from flawless fingers,
I'm oblivious why your venom lingers,
Cold blooded creature your feelings prove false,
Passion turns poison when you slink along,
Forked tong used to speak when love you recant,
I realized too late I loved a serpent.

Hey MATTHEW!!..... compelling stuff!!......I think you did a great job capturing the VENOMOUS capabilities you sometimes find in a person...... and unfortunately....... there too easy to find...... and they can be truly hurtful with just the poisonous words that come out of their mouth.........ALL STARZ!!...... well conceived...... and delivered with powerful honesty....... enjoyed.......LOVE and ROCKETS!!.......T xo ?✳✴☀
