The View From There

The View From There

The mountain looks foreboding and bleak

I aspire to scale this jagged peak

To reach the summit is a lifelong dream

To proudly stand where few others have been

The conquering of this monstrous rock face

Will certainly secure me a treasured place

In the annals of mountaineering folklore

My strength and daringĀ spoken of evermore

I accept a challenge as great as this one

Because of my willingness to overcome

Any obstacle that is put in front of me

My desire is to test my endurance and ability !
