Visionessence: A Romantic's Gift

What I show you,
Is for you to keep,
Tell not a soul,
Lest it be no secret:
If I told you to close your eyes,
And held your hand,
What would you say you feel?
If you felt anything at all;
Imagine the sands of the beach,
As I stroke your arms with my fingers,
Soft as baby powder,
Scented just as pleasant;
Can you see it now, love?
The images of beauty I see in you,
No matter where I go,
I'd see you somewhere;
I can hear you breathing, still,
When I whisper in your ear,
"Love you so much, my love,
Til the day I die I'm yours;"
Tell me what flavor you have,
When we have our kiss,
French vanilla with nutmeg,
A hint of caramel;
Your style is key,
And I hear you laugh,
While stroking your hair,
That flows like the gentle sea;
Images and pictures,
Which the romantic can find,
Bring color to life,
And nature to love;
Just a gift unlearned,
Mine unused and forgotten,
For I am not the image,
The image of propaganda;
I may be a shade of caramel,
Short for height,
But within me be such gifts,
Only none would know or see it;
So as for this event here,
I show you so many things,
You can open your eyes now,
And tell me what you think;
Only you're not there in the first place,
But with some other;
And all I have are dreams,
For I sit alone;
e love:
