Visions of "Afterlife"

Visions of the afterlife,

Perhaps looking back at the earth,

From the other side as a new birth?

Seeing life, turmoil, chaos and beauty,

From a new dimension and with a new duty.

 Watching those left behind without interaction,

Seeing family and friends in pain and no action,

Or would it be passing them by unknowingly,

Speaking whispers, feeling blankly,

Creating shivers as experienced in material life,

Crying tears of joy and sadness as an outside host,

As members pass us by like human ghosts,

Do we think, do we have emotions, or just exist,

Any imagination, guilt, or do minds memories resist,

Are we in a new world, of ghostly apparitions,

a new life’s vessel, a new start, and feelings?

Or do we remain non-existent after eyes shut,

Family and friends hear that deafening long beep,

And said their goodbyes to a material life, and sleep,

As we watch the tearful from a hover above,

Travelling the tunnel of light and past to meet,

Old and recent loving hands, showing the way, as they us greet

Or, our spirit forever asleep and awaiting a trial,

To perish or forever smile as a chosen one,

As in our material minds since birth driven and shown.

                             NO

We are beautiful beings, and punish no more,

Of life’s sufferings and hurt and painful store,

A challenge to live as set, to show and love,

For this we will be promoted, to endless joyful love.

To the next life we go to be happy at no cost,

To meet our loved ones, that we lost,

And cried as the ones we now left alone,

For us earths protective angels to become,

For those left to be sad, till one day again we meet,

And for us them joyfully with open arms greet.
