Voicemail

Mom
never has
Removed
Your greeting
From the phone
You shared
A daily reminder
to all of us
That you are
Still with us

At first it
Was hard to
Hear your
Voice
Everytime
I called
And she
Didn't
Answer
But now
It helps
Me remember
The  kind
Gentle
Sound
you
Gave
That provided
Me  so much
security
And acceptance
Throughout
my life.

I hope she never
Changes
Her voicemail
Because
I never want
To forget
That feeling
I had
When you
Were
Present......
