Poem -

waiting for a prince

waiting for a prince

everyday
she
waits
for his message
on messenger

His pictures
reminds
her
of
a greek god

as his
figure
is perfect

His words
melt
her emotions

leaving
a warm
feeling
of
confidence

that
she
has not
experienced
in a while

He is a successful
entrepreneur
has millions
in an offshore
account

needs to borrow
500
only
to recover
his
riches
due to
his ex
seizing
his
accounts

Confidence
begins
to
slowly
exit
her
body
the
moment
she sent
him a walmart
gift
card

Girl you
are worth
more
than
this

Your
knight in
shiny
armor
does
exist

just
not
on
tumbler.........................

Being Me

There are some real arseholes about that prey on lonely women. You have written this well!  Love this!  There are women who do the same thing to men too though. I know a couple of blokes who had been speaking online or over whatsapp etc to women who suddenly have a crisis and need money. And they've sent it! Not only that they've sent more! And then, when they dont hear anything else they ask, "Do you think I've been scammed?"   Erm, Yeah! It is a sad and horrible thing to do. And it goes on and on because people fall for it because at the end of the day everyone wants "Happy Ever After." Which doesnt exist by the way.

Great write ⚘x
